"I kind of feel bad for them, but nobody got hurt," said Glen Lockhart, who owns the home from where the tree was being removed.
As for how this happened, Lockhart says the crane operator seemed to underestimate what the machine could handle.
"Too big of a piece. I'm no crane operator. I was watching and thinking, I hope they know what they're doing, oh well," Lockhart said.
The crane operator was attempting to carry the tree over the homes to the street when the boom tipped over, sending the truck up into the utility wires.
After three hours of work, a crew was able to get the truck and the crane back on the ground.
A new crane was later brought in and the tree was finally removed.
No one was injured.
